Director of Photography Brian is an accomplished director of photography having lensed countless projects on a wide variety of formats ranging from miniDV to High Definition to 35mm film. His experience ranges in genre from drama to documentary, from commercials to music videos. Some of Brian's television work includes Pioneer Quest: A Year in the Real West (History Television), Whole Notes II (Bravo Television), It's A Living (CBC). Documentary credits include David Suzuki's The Sacred Balance (Kensington Communications), The Notorious Helen Armstrong (Buffalo Gal Pictures), The Believers George Fox (Sleeping Giant Productions/Hallmark Henson) and the award winning documentary The Genius of Lenny Breau (Buffalo Gal Pictures/Sleeping Giant Productions). Brian also photographed several award winning short films including Under Chad Valley, Motus Maestro and Rapture. In 1998 he was nominated for a Gemini in the (Best Photography in a Performing Arts program) category for a musical series called Hot Off The Dock, and recently won the Best Cinematogrphy award at the 2003 Blizzards for his work on the feature film The Nature of Nicholas (Critical Madness/Full Stop Films). Brian lives in Winnipeg, Canada.
