Galapagos Islands

Ola! Caught a ride on a Blue-Footed Boobie and landed here in the Galapagos. I just had to send you this pic of a seal and ... who are those creatures looking the other way? What does it say on their name tags? "Eco-Tourist?" They must have evolved since the last time I visited (ten thousand years ago). This new species has fancy plumage: Nike shorts, water bottles, cameras and big backpacks that make them look a little like turtles. Photo ops are a big favorite with them. This seal has it down pat. Smiles, flips about, wiggles its whiskers ... Hey, guy! Stop trying so hard, this ain't no zoo! I get the feeling Eco-tourists are not an endangered species. Just the opposite in fact. They obviously love nature. I just hope they don't love it to death. Adios
